I’m 36, from Phoenix, AZ. I’m the youngest of six kids and out of all them I’m the biggest sports/fitness enthusiast. I always wanted to be a teacher/coach so I got my degree from Weber State University in Physical Education and Health Promotion. Instead I found myself in the mortgage industry for the past nine years. I lived in Salt Lake City most of my life, but currently reside in Austin, Texas.

Staying active and participating in sports has always been an integral part of my life. As I’ve gotten older I have found that I keep adding to the list, pretty soon I won’t have anymore time! I currently fill my free time with fly fishing, tennis, golf, basketball and cycling to name a few. Those all come secondary to my gym time. Even though I’ve always been involved in sports I had only briefly been introduced to weight lifting, both in college and High School.

Enter Jessie’s Girls. There I was in my 30’s, I wasn’t happy with my body, and it was really affecting my quality of life so I was ready to get serious and make a change. Jessie’s detailed programs and nutritional guidance allowed me to not only achieve my ongoing fitness goals, but also helped me learn how to love myself again. When it comes to food I never feel starved or deprived, and I no longer have an immense amount of guilt surrounding food. My life will never be the same! I will be forever grateful for this fit family and I will forever call myself a Jessie’s Girl!

I wake up at 4:30, chug a little protein shake, eat some Rice Chex, wander around my house for about 30-45 and try to be at the gym by 5:15am.
