Simple Low Sugar Margarita

Ingredients

  • 2 Oz Tequila
  • 1 Oz Cointreau or Triple Sec
  • 1 Oz Lime Juice
  • 1 Tsp Agave Syrup

Garnish

  • Salt and Tajín
  • Lime Wedge

Instructions

  • On a small plate, sprinkle a layer of Tajín and salt. Set aside. 
  • Fill shaker halfway with ice.
  • Combine tequila, Cointreau or orange juice, freshly squeezed lime juice and agave syrup in shaker. 
  • Shake for approximately 20 seconds.
  • Rub the lime wedge along the rim of glass and dip edge of glass in Tajín and salt mixture. 
  • Pour drink into glass and garnish with lime wedge. 
  • If making Scaled Back version, top off drink with sparkling water or seltzer. Stir. 
  • Grate a little lime zest over drink for fun!
